South of Italy or Mezzogiorno literally "midday" is the traditional term for the southern regions of Italy, encompassing the continental Italian Peninsula and their islands. It generally coincides with the administrative regions of Abruzzo, Apulia, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Molise, Sicily, and Sardinia.

Birthplace of pizza and a treasure-trove of museums, art galleries, and medieval palaces, Naples is one of Europe’s oldest cities and a former staple of the Grand Tour in this exciting region.

As a result of two different assignments appeared a new pair of Traveler Guides: Sicily and Naples and Southern Italy.
