Nearly twenty years after I first did a story on childhood cancer, the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation asked me to do a follow up pictorial story to show the advances in pediatric cancer therapies since 1992.
I decided to do a story which illustrates, through color photography, the drama of those who directly or indirectly have seen their lives affected by pediatric malignancies.
The accompanying text was written by the newspaper reporter Jordi Rovira. All of the profits generated by the book directly benefit the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation.
