CIRCUM is a project I've been working on the last few month. On assignment for Olympus, at the time of launching the new OM-D EM-1 Mark-II I was sent to a Round-the-World Tour to test the new camera under all possible types of situations. The mission consisted of posting sixty stories with words and photos taken in different places. You can follow this trip through sixty post in my blog.
So I left Banyoles, my home town in Catalonia, and started the project by visiting my neighbor city of Barcelona; then I continued by going to Sicily, Rome and the Vatican in Italy, Doha in Qatar; Cape Town and surroundings in South Africa; Bangkok, Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai in Thailand; Tokyo in Japan; Hong Kong in China; Sydney in Australia; Santiago in Chile; Rio de Janeiro in Brazil; Miami and New York in United States and arrived to Madrid forty five days after my departure on March 14, 2017.
During the trip I came across fascinating stories, such as the Zip Zap Circus, a social circus that was founded in Cape Town in 1992, to inspire young people and help build a new culture of peaceful coexistence in South Africa or the FAE (Friends of the Asian Elephant) in Thailand, where elephants are being cared after they have lost a leg by stepping on a mine. Overall was an unforgettable experience that should be done by all people, at least once in their lifetime.
